Infidelity investigations in Oklahoma

Lawful observation of a spouse or partner in public places, documented with time-stamped photographs, video and a written report.

If you suspect a spouse or partner is being unfaithful, Daniel Fuller, a licensed private investigator based in Oklahoma City, can document what happens in public, lawfully and discreetly, anywhere in Oklahoma. You receive a written report with time-stamped photographs and video.

What does an infidelity investigation involve?

Daniel watches and records what a spouse or partner does in public places during the times you think matter, then writes up what was seen. The method is lawful surveillance: observation and photography from places open to the public.

The work starts from what you already know: a schedule, vehicles and usual places. Daniel plans specific time windows around them and works each one personally.

What public-place surveillance can and cannot document
Can documentCannot document
Meetings in public placesWhat happens inside a home, a hotel room or another private place
Arrivals and departures seen from a public streetWhat people say to each other
Vehicles, times and how long a visit lastsWhat is on a phone, in messages or in an account
Photographs and video of what was seenThe reason behind what was seen

Some windows show nothing. That is a normal result, and the report records it. If a third person is identified, background research on that person can follow, with your agreement.

Who asks for an infidelity investigation?

A husband, wife or partner who needs to know what is happening before making a decision. A family law attorney whose client needs documented facts before or during a divorce.

The report goes to you and, if you direct it, to your attorney. Fuller Investigations does not confirm to anyone whether a person is or was a client.

If texts or voicemail are not safe for you, say so on the first call, and only the contact method you choose will be used. Please do not send photos, documents or sensitive details by text before the first conversation.

What is lawful in Oklahoma?

Observation and photography from public places is the method. Oklahoma and federal law draw these lines around it, and Daniel works inside them.

  • Oklahoma's stalking law treats tracking a person's location with a GPS or other monitoring device, without that person's consent, as "following", with narrow exceptions. It covers a person who acts on behalf of another. 21 O.S. § 1173

    Daniel does not place trackers on vehicles.

  • In Oklahoma, a person who is part of a conversation may record it, and so may someone who has the prior consent of one participant, unless the recording is made to commit a crime. 13 O.S. § 176.4(5)

    Surveillance reports from Fuller Investigations include photographs and video, not audio of other people's conversations.

  • Intercepting other people's conversations outside those exceptions is a felony in Oklahoma, and so is using or disclosing what was intercepted. 13 O.S. § 176.3

    If you already hold material from a spouse's phone or accounts, talk to your attorney before you use or share it.

  • Secretly watching someone at a home or another place where they expect privacy, or secretly photographing them there, can be a crime. 21 O.S. § 1171

  • Willfully entering someone's yard, garden, pasture or field after being told not to, or without the owner's permission, is an offense in Oklahoma. The statute has no exception for investigators. 21 O.S. § 1835

  • Getting someone's phone records by lying to a phone company is a federal crime. 18 U.S.C. § 1039

  • Oklahoma's Computer Crimes Act makes it a crime to access another person's computer, account or data without authorization, or to ask someone else to. 21 O.S. § 1953

    Daniel does not obtain another person's texts, call records or account contents.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Ask your attorney how the law applies to your situation.

What will you receive?

  • A written report of what was done and what was seen, with dates, times and places.
  • Photographs and video taken from public places, each with its date and time.
  • A time-stamped log of every surveillance window, including the windows with no activity.
  • The original photo and video files, preserved.
  • Daniel, available to testify about the work performed.

The report states what was seen, not conclusions about the relationship. Oklahoma lists adultery among its grounds for divorce, alongside incompatibility (43 O.S. § 101). How documented facts matter in your case is a question for your family law attorney.

What should you have ready?

The first consultation is free. Work begins only after a written agreement is signed and a retainer is paid, as how it works explains. For that first conversation, it helps to have:

  • a recent photograph of your spouse or partner;
  • the vehicles involved, with plate numbers;
  • the work schedule and usual places;
  • the dates or times you suspect;
  • any safety concerns, and the safest way and time to reach you.

What it costs depends mostly on the number and length of the surveillance windows, plus mileage. All of it is set out in the written agreement before work begins. The cost guide explains each factor.

When should you call the police or 911 first?

If someone is in danger right now, call 911. Fuller Investigations is not an emergency service.

If you are afraid of your spouse or partner, or there has been violence or a threat of it, call the police before you call an investigator. An investigation documents facts. It does not protect anyone.

Fuller Investigations declines any matter whose purpose appears to be to harass, threaten, stalk or harm someone.

The first consultation is free and confidential.
